Who Won the Super Bowl?

Hey Everyone!

This is normally when I would give a recap on the thing that I have previously posted like I did with John Scott but there's not much to recap with this year's Super Bowl.

Just know that it was definitely a defense run game (on both sides). If it wasn't for the defense - who knows - we may still be watching it.

Anyways, who won the big game?

Carolina Panthers: 10
Denver Broncos: 24

My prediction wasn't that far off with the Broncos score but it was off by 11 of my Panthers prediction. Not bad, I have to say.

The Super Bowl MVP was Von Miller. It was very deserving as again it was a defense game and he had two of the biggest plays in the game (opening sack causing a fumble then a touchdown and then another sack which lead to another fumble which I have to say Cam Newton didn't really try for as he jumped back away from the ball).

Peyton Manning got his 2nd Super Bowl ring! Congratulations to him. Even though it was the defense who truly won the game, he deserved the win as well. This could've been the final game of his career and they way his career went - he deserves to go out on top.

He hasn't announced anything yet as he wants to take time to enjoy the win, be with his family, and then thing about the next step.

Hey Peyton - the next step should be with you retiring because you deserve to go out on top. Listen to your mom, she wants you to retire. Listen to all the players who look up to you. Talk to your family. Look back at all the memories and ask yourself: could I picture a better storybook ending?

Anyways, whether you do decide to retire or not - you had an awesome career and if you do continue on with it, we'll welcome you back with open arms (at least I and many others will). But again, it's time for the Jets to take the big win (so big man, I would retire now).

Alright, going back to the Super Bowl - there were plenty of different (positive and negative) thoughts about the commercials and half time show.

I'm not going into great detail on each as this post was about who won the big game. I may do a post about a missing commercial that many, including me, complained about.

Alright, so the Broncos won the 50th Super Bowl. Another football season has come to an end. For all of you football fans, you now have to wait another six months for the next season.

What did you think of the game? Did you enjoy it? Do you think Peyton Manning should retire after winning his 2nd ring?

Until Next Time

My Super Bowl Prediction

Hey Everyone!

Today is Super Bowl Sunday = Super Bowl (NFL championship) time.

This year's Super Bowl is the 50th one so it's a big celebration with Lady Gaga opening up with the National Anthem and Marlee Matlin doing the ASL version. Then the halftime show: headlined by Cold Play with Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

The two teams that are playing in the Super Bowl are
Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.

Both teams are good teams. Panthers had a great year with Cam Newton at quarterback. Broncos, too, had a great year with Peyton Manning (and Brock Osweiler while Manning was hurt). So, it should be a good game.

With the defense and offense they each have, my Super Bowl prediction is: 28-21 Denver Broncos with the win.

Why am I picking the Broncos? Well the first reason is because I want them to win. I'm a Jets fan but I'm also a Peyton Manning fan because he's one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history (the records don't lie) and it could be the last game of his career. Manning is turning 40 this year.

Manning deserves to go out a winner after everything he's done for football and the two teams he played for: Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.

I definitely think the game is going to be a close one because Cam Newton is a great quarterback and they have a good defense and offense so it will be a fight for the win. If Newton and the Panthers win, it'll be like a torch given to the next big quarterback (depending on if he stays consistent).

So again my Super Bowl prediction is:
28-21 Denver Broncos.

Now I would like to hear from YOU. Who do you think is going to win? What is the score going to be? Also, do you think this is really the end of the great Peyton Manning?

Until Next Time
