About the Writer

My name is Caitlin and I have a Bachelor's Degree in English-Writing from Kean University. I am 27 years old and have been very interested in writing for as long as I could remember. I enjoy coming up with different characters and different stories that haven't been done before.

Now some background about myself. I am a wheelchair user, have been since I was about four years old, due to being paralyzed from the waist down after having complications on back surgeries when I was younger. Would I change a thing? Absolutely not! It's helped me become who I am, giving me opportunities that I may not have had if I wasn't in a wheelchair.

When I was about five/six years old, I joined the Children's Lightning Wheels. I started out doing track & field but then as the years went on, I added table tennis and archery to the list of sports that I do. I also, at one point, did fencing (saber was my specialty) for a couple years. Being a part of the Lightning Wheels was probably the best part of the past 17 years - I have met great people who I consider as my best friends (and family) and I have learned so much. 2015 was my last season as an athlete but I will return to help with archery and wherever they need me. I'm also going to continue doing my field events, archery, and table tennis as an adult.

With my experiences, passions, and ability to write - I have decided to start a blog whether it's about things personally in my life (school, sports team, friends, etc.) or what's going on in the world (professional sports, entertainment, disability rights, etc.).

Need more information about this blog (even for the name), you can go to the About Me page.

My main writing goal is to have a published novel (preferably multiple novels) and I also have other plans on my list and I hope that you will be seeing those in the future. (Keeping some of them on the down low).

Well, I think that's it about me (for now) and I hope you enjoy Wiki-Wheelz!
